Tasted like it was trying to be cheesecake but deff wasn't cheesecake. It came In a plastic lid and it was grey. He had ice cream for dessert (wasn't made by them) and he loved it and I had "cheesecake" with cherries and not sure what cheesecake I had. They had also been sitting there for quite awhile. There was also some shelled mussles and my bf had one and said it wasn't cooked and was disgusting. We also tried the steamed shrimp dumplings from the dim sum corner and he said they were tasty but they tasted rubbery and a gross plastic taste to me. The chicken balls were greasy and really doughy. Didn't try the fried chicken but my bf ate two pieces so I assumed it was good. Spring rolls were okay but noodle house is much better. The deep fried wontons had an off flavour so I assumed the oil they were fried in wasn't clean. I didn't try the fried basa but my bf loves fish and he took a bite and refused to eat the rest. I also tried to put red vinegar on mine and the sauce slid off and wouldn't absorb because the grease. The pork dumplings were really greasy and weren't fully cooked, they ended up being really doughy and the pork filling was really pink. The bbq pork was tasty but super greasy and really fatty. If we go to a new place we like to try a lot of things so we tried the bbq pork, ginger pork, pork dumplings, fried basa, fried chicken, deep fried wontons, spring rolls, chicken balls, and the dim sum corner. It's very greasy and I'm usually okay with greasy Chinese food but we both felt gross after eating here. There is a lot of variety but it's just not the best. Unfortunately the only food I liked was the chow mein and the Shanghai noodle stir fry. My boyfriend and I went here for date night because this is what he wanted.
